South African Womens National team – Banyana-banyana hosted Zambia’s Copper Queens in an International Friendly match at the Bidvest Stadium in Johannesburg, South Africa on Saturday April 10th, 2021.
Barbara Banda opened the Scoreline for the Copper Queens in the 17th minute. However Noko Matlou turned the Scoreline to put Banyana-banyana in the lead after an equalizing goal in the 39th minute and another in the 42nd minute.
Thembi Kgatlana trippled Banyana-banyana’s lead in the 53rd minute to give the South African side a 3-1 finish.
Banyana-banyana will take on Botswana in their next friendly match on Tuesday April 13th, 2021.
